This number has called my phone 3-4 times a day within the last two weeks. I answered the phone twice and it was nothing but dead air. This is extremely annoying.

They have called several times, never leave a message, and when I do answer, the line has no on the other end and hangs up after a couple of seconds.

VERY VERY STRONG ACCENT - INDIAN - SPOKE TO QUICK TO UNDERSTAND - TOLD ME I WAS BEING REWARDED WITH 100 GIFT CARD TO USE IN WALMART OR ANY STORE BECAUSE I USE MY VISA FOR GROCERIES SO OFTEN. SAID THEY WORK WITH WALMART/PUBLIX ETC AND GIVE GIFT CARDS AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF POINTS EARNED ON VARIOUS SHOPPING TRIPS THRU THE YEAR. HE VERIFIED MY NAME AND MY ADDRESS... ASKED FOR MY VISA EXP DATE AND I SAID NO. HE STATED HE HAD THE NUMBER BUT NEEDED TO VERIFY IT WAS A VALID VISA CARD AND NOT EXPIRED... TOLD HIM LOOK BUDDY IF I WON SOMETHING SEND IT TO ME, IM NOT VERIFYING ANYTHING AND I AGREE TO NOTHING. HE KEPT SAYING THE CALL WAS RECORDED FOR MY PROTECTION. AFTER HANGING UP, I GOOGLED AND PROMPTLY CALLED MY BANK TO REVIEW THEIR FRAUD POLICIES - JUST IN CASE. I ALSO MOVED ALL MY FUNDS OUT OF MY ACCT TO BE SAFE BUT I GAVE THEM NO INFO AND REPEATED I AGREED TO NOTHING.

Asked for Mark, I replied who is this? He hang up. I called the number back to find that this number is a non working number. Just to make sure I wasn't tripping I called the number again, same thing. I am on the do not call list, Cell phone and home phone.

Get this call all the time! They want you to fax over authorization to settle up a "past due account". They threaten you with going to your place of employement etc. They actually want you to fax over cc number and copy of drivers license to take care of this "past due account".
